On February 20th, representatives of INVISTA and Shanghai Chemical Industry Park signed a memorandum of cooperation on the adiponitrile (ADN) project in Shanghai.
The design and planning of INVISTA’s 400,000 tons/year adiponitrile production base has been launched, and the investment is expected to exceed 1 billion U.

dollars, plans to start construction in 2020 and put into production in 2022

According to the memorandum of cooperation, the Shanghai Municipal Government and Shanghai Chemical Industry Park will give INVISTA strong support, including the protection of intellectual property rights and joint promotion of investment agreements.
INVISTA will also promote its internal project decision-making process
.
