    Yang Zhu, deputy director of the Yunnan Provincial Market Supervision Administration, introduced at the meeting that Yunnan is an important treasure house of biodiversity in China and an ecological security barrier in southwest China.


    Among them, Asian elephants are concentrated in the three prefectures of Xishuangbanna, Pu'er and Lincang in Yunnan, with a population of only about 300; Yunnan golden snub-nosed monkeys are mainly distributed in the Jinsha River, Lancang River Yunling Mountains in Yunnan Province and the high-altitude areas of Tibet.


    According to reports, these 20 standards involve 3 Asian elephants, 10 Yunnan golden monkeys, and 7 green peacocks, focusing on the rescue and release, population monitoring, breeding and breeding, quarantine testing, genetic resource protection of Asian elephants, Yunnan golden monkeys, and green peacocks.
