Zhejiang Provincial Administration for Market Supervision Food Safety Supervision and Sampling Information Circular (Issue 39, 2022)

Recently, the Zhejiang Provincial Administration for Market Supervision organized random inspection of grain processed products, edible oils, oils and fats and their products, condiments, meat products, dairy products, beverages, convenience foods, biscuits, canned food, frozen drinks, quick-frozen foods, potatoes and puffed foods, candy products, tea and related products, alcohol, vegetable products, fruit products, fried foods and nut products, egg products, cocoa and roasted coffee products, aquatic products, starch and starch products, soy products, special dietary foods, catering foods, food additives, 984 batches of samples of 27 types of
food such as edible agricultural products.
Inspection and judgment according to national food safety standards: 960 batches of qualified sampling inspection and 24 batches of unqualified (see annex).

Unqualified items involve microbial contamination, excessive food additives, excessive residues of agricultural and veterinary drugs, non-compliance of quality indicators, and heavy metal pollution

For the unqualified products found in the sampling inspection, our bureau has instructed the relevant municipal market supervision departments to investigate and deal with
them according to law.
Market supervision departments in Hangzhou, Ningbo, Wenzhou, Huzhou, Jiaxing, Shaoxing, Jinhua, Quzhou, Taizhou, Lishui and other places are required to urge food production enterprises to clarify product flow, recall unqualified products, and analyze the reasons for rectification; Market supervision departments in Hangzhou, Ningbo, Wenzhou, Huzhou, Jiaxing, Shaoxing, Jinhua, Quzhou, Taizhou, Lishui and other places are required to urge the food business link to immediately take measures such as removing from shelves to control risks
