On December 4, Mr.
Songchuan, director of the Department of Animal Husbandry (DLD) of Thailand, revealed that the Department of Livestock recently received complaints from the public, saying that a large local meat processing factory in Bowen Township, Sriracha County, Chonburi Province, Thailand, illegally produces meat without permission, and there is a risk
of spreading infectious diseases.

After the staff of the Animal Husbandry Department went to investigate, they found many animal offals soaked in formalin, hydrogen peroxide, caustic soda, and pig and beef at the scene, accumulating more than 25,000 kilograms and worth 5 million baht
.

In addition, some chemical substances, more than 50 formalin barrels, and 2,300 transaction receipts sold to 66 stores, including Thai barbecue hot pot restaurants and northeastern restaurants, were seized in the factory.

Through investigation, it was learned that the factory did not have a food production license, a meat product sales license and legal related certificates, which was illegal business, and would be sued
in accordance with the law.
