    On June 20, 2019, ANZ Food Standards Agency issued Circular 84-19, in which A1169 applied for approval of the use of alpha-glucosidease from a genetically modified strain of Richterwood as a processing aid for the production of various food ingredients, according to the Food Partners Network α .FSANZ.
    it is understood that the application was made by DuPont Australia Pty Ltd, and that the recommended use of α-glucosidease from the genetically modified strain of Richterwood is to produce biochemicals such as MSG and other amino acids, organic acids such as lactic acid, citric acid and amber acid, drinking alcohol, isomal oligosaccharides and other sweeteners, and lysine.
