    4 Silicone additives
, which are used as wear-resistant additives, are a system that requires wear resistance, and in addition to increasing crosslinking density from a resin perspective, additives are a common method, and silicone additives are a common method. Common are ultra-high relative molecular mass silicone micro-balls, ultra-high relative molecular mass silicone emulsions and silicone nano-modifiers.
Ultra-high relative molecular mass wear-resistant silicone microsphere has a slight cross-linked structure of the high relative molecular mass polysilicon dispersion, microsphere-like microsphere, added to the system, will eventually be directed on the surface of the paint film, forming a polysilicone film, thus providing the system with excellent slip and surface wear effect.
In the water-based coating system, in addition to silicone microspheres, ultra-high relative molecular mass silicone emulsion is also a commonly used class of wear-resistant additives, they are usually polymerized by silicone emulsion, the internal phase viscosity is very high, relative molecular mass can reach millions, added to the system in the film, can form a layer of ultra-high relative molecular mass silicone thin layer on the surface, thereby improving the wear-resistant effect of the film.
Recently, a special type of silicone wear aid has been developed with a chemical composition of cage-shaped polysilicon, as shown in the pattern (4), which is a lowly clustered caged silicone compound in which the R-group can be a variety of reactive types Base groups, such as hydroxyl, epoxy, acrylic double bonds, etc., are added to the system, and their reactive groups can participate in the resin curing reaction, thus introducing a structure similar to inorge silica in the system, which can improve the flexibility and wear resistance of the system at the same time.5 As a coating resin modified silicone additive
silicone materials usually have some special properties, such as smooth surface, wear resistance, weather resistance, low gentle toughness and other properties, through a number of reactive groups of silicone materials as modified additives, can be introduced into the resin system silicone chain segments, so that the excellent performance of silicone materials into the coating system, as shown in Figure 2.resin modified silicone materials with a variety of different organ groups, usually with reactive groups at both ends of the silicone polymer. Silicone materials with carbon hydroxyl usually have a good reaction capacity with polyurethane materials, can be used for polyester or polyurethane resin modified; Silicone materials with epoxy groups can be used for epoxy resin changes; Silicone materials with acrylic double bonds at both ends can be used for photo-curing resin modified, silicone materials with acrylic double bonds can also be used for silicone modified emulsion synthesis reaction; Silicone materials with amino can be used as silicone modified polyimide resin synthesis for some high-end uses; Silicone materials with a nirconium base can be used as a modified powder coating resin and are involved in reactions.6 as a stain-resistant additive
coating systems for certain special applications such as 3C, often with surface resistance requirements. Most of the anti-fouling aids are silicone additives of various special structures, as shown in type (5), which usually contain some silicone group R that reacts to the system, and some silicone chain segments that stretch on the surface, which provide excellent stain resistance. When R is hydroxyl, it can be used in polyurethane systems and ammonia paint systems, when hydroxyl content is low, it is suitable for solvent-based systems, when hydroxyl content is high, it is suitable for water-based systems;.
