Constipation is a common cause of inadequate bowel preparation and is not conducive to colonoscopy.
Recently, Chinese scholars conducted a study that included 199 patients with functional constipation who underwent colonoscopy between June 2016 and April 2017, and explored the high-risk factors that may affect the quality of bowel preparation in patients with functional constipation.
