    This artificial intelligence diagnosis system for malaria parasites consists of four parts: an image acquisition module, a cell detection module, a malaria classification module, and a malaria diagnosis module.


    Teng Yue, an associate researcher of the Unknown Pathogen Analysis Laboratory of the Institute of Microbiology and Epidemiology of the Academy of Military Medical Sciences, introduced that the microscopic images of blood smears were taken through a smartphone, and then the obtained photos were input into our artificial intelligence detection system.


    It is understood that in the development of human history, malaria is one of the most dangerous infectious diseases, and the climate and sanitary conditions in Africa have created conditions for the spread of malaria


    Song Yajun, director of the Unknown Pathogen Analysis Office of the Institute of Microbiology and Epidemiology of the Academy of Military Medical Sciences, said that although malaria has been successfully eradicated in our country, it still exists widely in the world, especially in Africa and other regions.
