Anemia is a disease that is widespread among women around the world, and is related to the decline in global economic productivity and the increase in mortality

Recently, a research article was published in the top medical journal Nature Medicine.

In addition, the researchers provided an analysis of local differences to provide a comprehensive overview of the uneven prevalence of anemia in these countries and predict the progress of the World Health Organization's Global Nutrition Target (WHOGNT) to reduce anemia by half by 2030

The results of the researchers show that the overall situation of global female anemia is generally moderately improved.

The global female anemia map obtained by the study shows huge differences in the prevalence of each country, and shows areas that may not meet the WHOGNT standards.
