Russia adds sugar beet nematode to the Eurasian Economic Union Common List of Quarantine Pests

On February 9, 2022, Russia issued G/SPS/N/RUS/245, a draft decision of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission "On Amendment to Certain Decisions of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission", which included the sugar beet nematode (Limonius californicus (Limonius californicus) Mannerheim) is included in the Common List of Quarantine Pests of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), which was approved by Decision No.
158 of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission of 30 November 2016.

The draft also provides for an update of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission 2016 Common phytosanitary requirements for quarantine products and quarantine objects at the customs border and customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union, approved by Decision No.
157 of November 30.

The feedback period for this draft is until April 12, 2022
