Fortunately, a group of researchers has developed a roadmap for dPCR experiments, called the digital MIQE guide

However, although more and more researchers are using dPCR in their experiments, few adopt the digital MIQE guidelines

This is consistent with an earlier survey by Nature Methods, which showed that about nine of the ten articles failed to provide the minimum required experimental data, and therefore may contain misleading results and conclusions

For this situation, the senior author of the digital MIQE paper, Professor Stephen Bustin of Ruskin University in Anglia, UK believes that the implementation of MIQE guidelines requires the participation of journal editors

However, Professor Bustin also said that instrument suppliers have become active promoters of MIQE guidelines

These tools can give researchers a clearer understanding of good PCR practices
