Enzymatically Catalyzed Conjugation of a Biodegradable Polymer to Proteins and Small Molecules Using Microbial Transglutaminase
Time of Update: 2020-12-15
To address this issue, we have developed an enzymatic method for protein HESylation using recombinant microbial transglutaminase (rMTG).
To convert HES into a suitable substrate for rMTG, the polymer was derivatized with eitherN -carbobenzyloxy glutaminyl glycine (Z-QG) or hexamethylenediamine to act as an acyl donor or acyl acceptor, respectively.

The electroscopic structure of MERS-CoV and SARS-CoV tri-polymer prick proteins.
Time of Update: 2020-09-07
Compared with other previously published coronavirus S proteins, they found that these two highly pathogenic viruses have free receptor binding regions, which are more beneficial to the binding of S proteins and host receptors, and provide a critical three-dimensional structural map for subsequent broad-spectrum antibodies and vaccine design.
